Yaesu's patented ATAS™ (Active Tuning Antenna System) provides 7/14/21/28/50/144/430 MHz bands coverage with automatic motorised tuning on the Yaesu FT-100, FT-100D, FT-817, FT-847, FT-857, FT-891, FT-897(D) and FT-991A transceivers.
Using control signals from the transceiver's microprocessor received via the coaxial cable, the ATAS internal motor adjusts the radiator length for the best SWR.
