New 430 to 520 MHz Range Features

- You can adjust UHF dipoles, verticals, yagis, quads and other antennas and determine their SWR, resonant frequency and bandwidth.

Waarschuwing

Gebleken is, dat na uitleen en amateur evenementen zoals contesten, velddagen etc. steeds een aantal defekte antenne analyzers voor reparatie wordt aangeboden. Hoewel in principe reparatie altijd mogelijk is, is voorkomen beter dan genezen. Veel gemaakte gebruiksfouten zijn:

-Netadapter Deze is vaak ongestabiliseerd en heeft onbelast een veel te hoge DC uitgangsspanning. Sluit u de onder spanning staande netadapter aan op een reeds ingeschakelde analyzer, dan kan de kortstondige overspanning de analyzer beschadigen.
-Polariteit Ondanks de ingebouwde veiligheidsdiode, kan door foutieve polariteit/overspanning van een netadapter of externe voeding de analyzer worden beschadigd.
-HF spanning Een te hoge HF spanning op de PL aansluiting beschadigt de meetbrug. Sluit geen zender aan op de analyzer (schakelfout) en voer geen meting uit aan een antenne, terwijl tegelijkertijd op een dichtbij opgestelde antenne wordt gezonden.
- HF spanning op BNC connector Een te hoge HF spanning op de BNC connector voor frequentiemeting beschadigt de ingang van de counter. Sluit daarom geen zender aan op de BNC connector en let op de maximaal toelaatbare HF spanning. Zie manual.
