ICOM SM-30

The Icom SM-30 is a compact, lightweight unidirectional electret condenser microphone. It features a selectable low cut function. The goose-neck style desktop mic has an microphone output level that can adjusted via a trimmer on the bottom of the microphone. The base has a PTT and Lock PTT switch and there is a red "PTT lock" lamp.

The characteristics of the SM-30 have been optimized for SSB and FM voice communications. It has an 8 pin connector. Output impedance is 600 Ohm. Operates from 8 VDC which is derived from the Icom radio. The microphone cable is approx. 1 m. long.

This quality desk microphone is designed for base station operation with select Icom transceivers such as the new IC-7410. (Not for use with other brands).
