mAT-125E

The new mAT-125E developed by BG3MZU, is a versatile automatic tuner, which can be used for almost all types of transceivers and provides automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF spectrum including 6 meters, at powers up to 120 watt SSB (30 Watt digi modes). It tunes dipoles, verticals, Yagis, or just about any coax powered antenna. The mAT-125E adjusts an amazing array of antennas and impedances far greater than the standard built-in transceiver tuner.

The mAT-125E has 16,000 memory locations. When tuning to or near a previously tuned frequency, the mAT-125E uses "Memory Tune" to recall previous tuning parameters in a fraction of a second. If no stored setting is available in memory, the tuner will automatically perform a new tuning cycle, restoring the parameters. In this way the mAT-125E "learns" during use and gradually fills the free memory locations with settings for all bands and frequencies.

The tuner has an aluminum housing. Aluminum milling technology and laser engraving are used on the front and rear panel. Due to its compact and robust design, the tuner is very suitable for mobile and SOTA use.

The mAT-125E has two robust internally placed 18650 Li batteries, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Because the tuner uses so-called latching relays, the power consumption is very low. To charge the rechargeable Li-batteries, the mAT-125E is supplied with a special 8.4V / 1A mains adapter. Before using the tuner for the first time, the Li batteries in the tuner must be charged.

The tuner does not require an interface cable, only a 50 ohm RF jumper cable to the transmitter and the antenna are the only connections.

As with other auto tuners, a constant RF signal of 1-20 watts max (CW, FM, FSK or RTTY) is required to start the tuning cycle.
