The new Hygain AR-500X lightweight antenna rotator is suitable for small antennas up to 45 kg. Azimuth angle 360° with mechanical end positions. Designed for the use of small UHF, VHF, 6-Meter, TV and FM antennas.

Has programmable antenna controller with remote-control. The Hygain AR-500X remembers up to 12 antenna directions even after a power outage! Control all functions with the remote control or console. The control console displays location chosen and relative position.

Rugged heavy-duty rotator is built in a weather-proof one piece cast aluminum housing and has 1m open end pigtail. Has precision metal gears and steel thrust bearings for durability. Includes rotator, controller, mount clamps and hardware. A handy remote control is included

The rotor is not suitable for satellite dishes and CB antennas. An additional top bearing relieves the Emom on the rotor, but has no influence on the rotation- and braking torque. Excessive wind load will damage the end stop.

Synchronization
Press the SYNC key on the left of the front panel or 00 Down from the handheld. A counterclockwise movement is performed to synchronize the control unit with the drive unit for proper operation. Synchronization takes slightly over one minute. After severe storms, or an extended period of use, the rotator may appear to position the antenna incorrectly. First try pressing the SYNC key to re-synchronize the system. If this fails, the antenna or drive motor may be misaligned on the mast. You may either go to the antenna and re-orient it, or reprogram the control unit to correspond to the new antenna orientation.
