mAT-Y200

Developed by BG3MZU, the new mAT-Y200 is an automatic tuner specifically designed for the Yaesu FT-450, FT-891, FT-991A, FT-DX10, FT-DX101D, FT-DX101MP transceivers and provides automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF spectrum including 6 meters, at powers up to 200 watts SSB (100 watts digi modes). It will tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis or just about any coax fed antenna. The mAT-Y200 adapts an amazing array of antennas and impedances, far exceeding the standard built-in tuner of transceivers.

This tuner is an excellent choice for users of digital modes such as FT8, CW and RTTY. The power handling of the mAT-Y200 is 100 watts even in data mode.

The mAT-Y200 has 16,000 memory locations. When tuning to or near a previously tuned frequency, the mAT-Y200 uses “Memory Tune” to recall the previous tuning parameters in a split second. If no stored setting is available in memory, the tuner will automatically perform a new tuning cycle, then store the parameters again. In this way, the mAT-Y200 "learns" during use and gradually fills the free memory spaces with settings for all bands and frequencies.

The tuner has an aluminum housing. The front and back panels use aluminum milling technology and laser engraving. Due to its compact and robust design, the tuner is very suitable for mobile and SOTA use.

The external antenna tuner is connected to the transmitter by means of a mAT-CY (8-pin Mini-DIN) interface cable. The tuner from the transceiver is powered via this cable and they communicate with each other. For use with the FT-DX101MP, the mAT-Y200 automatically sets the maximum output power to 100 W.
